The International Life Sciences Institute (ILSI) is proud to celebrate 30 years of advancing scientific understanding in nutrition, food safety, risk assessment and the environment.
A set of six posters were created to chronicle examples of ILSI’s contributions and to document the growth of the organization from a single entity to 15 branches around the world and a Research Foundation. Click here to download these posters.
In addition to these posters, a set of four fact sheets were developed to highlight ILSI’s contributions in four specific areas – obesity, functional foods, biotechnology, and risk assessment. These four areas were designated in 2001 as “global issues” for the organization, meaning that most of the ILSI branches and the Research Foundation were working on projects related to these topics.
