The andel’s Hotel Berlin****Superior is situated near the historical Alexanderplatz square in the eastern part of the city with easy access to Berlin’s sights and attractions. It is directly connected via the S9 train with the new Willy Brandt Berlin Brandenburg airport that will replace Tegel Airport and Schönefeld Airport by September 2012.

How to reach you hotel by public transportation
Public transportation is very well organised and very convenient to move around in Berlin.
For the andel’s Hotel Berlin and Park Plaza Prenzlauer Berg, take S7 train in the direction of Ahrensfelde and get off at Alexanderplatz. There take Metrotram Line 5 (M5) in the direction Hohenschönhausen/Zingster Straße or Metrotram Line 6 (M6) in the direction Riesaer Straße and get off at Landsberger Allee.
Travel time: 20 minutes
For the Holiday Inn East Berlin, get off at Hohenschönhauser Straße / Weißenseer Weg exit the Tram in the driving direction and enter the Weißenseer Weg to the right after approximately a 3-minute walk you have reached the hotel.
For the andel’s Hotel Berlin and Park Plaza Prenzlauer Berg, take bus TXL to Beusselstraße, then transfer to S41 (Ringbahn) train and Get off at Landsberger Allee.

For the Holiday In East Berlin, take the Bus 128 until U-Bahnhof Osloer Straße at the U-Bahnhof Osloer Straße, then take the Tram line M13 (in the direction S + U Bahnhof Warschauer Straße) and get off at station Landsberger Allee/Weißenseer Weg (directly at the hotel). Alternatively, from the airport you may take the Bus line X9 and 109 (both to the Zoologischer Garten) or the Bus „TXL“ (to Alexanderplatz).

By Car
In an effort to reduce pollution, the Berlin city council introduced an environmental zone which restricts the amount of traffic permitted within the central urban area. The zone is defined as the area within the S-Bahn railway belt (Ringbahn). Only vehicles which meet strict emission standards are permitted to travel within this area.
All drivers wishing to travel within this area (including foreign cars) must purchase and display a colour-coded sticker in their front windshield or incur a fine of EUR 40 and 1 penalty point with Germany’s federal department of motor vehicles.
The andel’s Hotel Berlin is located directly behind the S-Bahn ring. Their concierge service will gladly provide you with driving directions that do not require transit through the environmental zone or assist you in applying for the environmental sticker.
