EURRECA

ILSI Europe coordinates a Network of Excellence (NoE) funded by the European Commission under the Sixth Framework Programme.

EURRECA (EURopean micronutrient RECommendations Aligned) is made up of 35 partners based in 17 countries. The Network has been established in 2007 to address the problem of national variations in micronutrient recommendations. Its main objective is to develop methodologies to standardise the process of setting micronutrient recommendations.
The initiative and the funds needed to elaborate a proposal came from the ILSI Europe Nutrient Requirements Task Force.
