Eurotox 2009

Travel Grant for CEE, SEE and Baltic Scientists

ILSI Europe offered one travel grant for a scientist from CEE, SEE and Baltic countries to attend the 46th Congress of the European Societies of Toxicology, 13-16 September 2009, Dresden, Germany.

ILSI Europe has now the pleasure to announce that the available travel grant has been offered to Ms Carmen Purdel, Department of Toxicology, University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Carol Davila," Bucharest, Romania.


Continuing Education Course on TTC
The ILSI Europe Threshold of Toxicological Concern Task Force sponsored a CEC titled "The TTC Concept: Past, present and future". The morning session presented the scientific basis of the TTC concept and its application to food packaging materials and flavouring substances. In the afternoon, the course focused on available computer tools and research developments related to the TTC concept.
