Presentation: "Intake of selected micronutrients from foods, supplements and fortification in various European countries" (abstract number 2176) - Dr. Inge Tetens, Technical University Denmark (Denmark)
Data on intakes of selected vitamins and minerals from conventional foods, food supplements and fortified foods from 9 European countries will be presented. The focus is on high consumers (defined as P95) compared to the UL and the results show that the risk of excessive intakes is relatively low for the majority of nutrients and that children are more likely to exhibit high intakes relative to the UL compared to adults.
