Core Activities on Harmonization, Outreach, and
Education
IFBiC core programs on
harmonization, outreach, and education address scientific issues related to the
development, distribution, and safety of foods and feed developed through
modern biotechnology. These issues are not unique to any single stakeholder, industry,
country, or region and are important as products from biotech crops become more
common in marketplaces around the world.
Task Forces and Working Groups
IFBiC’s Task Force and Working
Groups study focused scientific questions and are supported by five or more
IFBiC members. These may be organized to
respond to emerging issues, which gives IFBiC the flexibility to address a wide
range of topics.
