OBJECTIVE
The ILSI North America Technical Committee on Food Components for Health Promotion has a goal to increase the understanding of how specific components in food can improve health and prevent disease.
EB 2008 Special Session
Each year the Technical Committee on Food Components for Health Promotion collaborates with the American Society for Nutrition to organize a special scientific session at Experimental Biology (EB).
This year's special session was Functional Foods for Health Promotion: Microbes and Health and was held on Saturday, 5 April 2008.
