​This three-day workshop will convene regulators and risk assessors from main exporting countries and importing countries from the Americas and Asia to review and discuss safety assessment approaches for GM plant materials based on the Codex Alimentarius Plant Guidelines. ​This event was initiated by the AgriFood Health and Quality National Service (SENASA, Ministry of Agriculture)  in Argentina with support from ILSI Argentina,  the ILSI International Food Biotechnology Committee, and other ILSI entities.
