Towards a healthy future - Assessing and improving human and environmental health
The last ILSI Europe Annual Symposium was held on 25-26 March 2010 in the Hotel Renaissance, Brussels. The theme of the event was “Assessing and improving human and environmental health”. Topics addressed are e.g. assessing food impact on the environment and on human health, use of biomarkers in food-related health, sustainable food components, agricultural sustainability, the concept of threshold of toxicological concern, integrated food-environment risk assessments. Participants included representatives of ILSI Europe member companies as well as key academic scientific advisors and representatives of international organisations.
