Dietary Fibre: Current Science and Regulatory Update

Organized by ILSI Southeast Asia Region, ILSI Southeast Asia Region Malaysia Country Committee, and the Food Safety and Quality Division, Ministry of Health Malaysia, the seminar will provide updates on current understandings of dietary fibre, its characteristics, physiological role and effects on human health.

In addition, updates on international and regional regulatory status of dietary fibre definition and conditions for claims will be shared. The seminar will also provide a forum for discussion among all stakeholders on regulatory definition of dietary fibre and the conditions for claims.
