Physical Activity and Nutrition Program (PAN)
The PAN program was established in the mid-1990s to explore scientific gaps in nutrition, physical activity, obesity and health promotion focusing on "system fit" interventions. The program coordinates several initiatives, including TAKE 10!
Healthy Lifestyles, Healthy People
The Healthy Lifestyles, Healthy People project is a joint initiative of ILSI, the WHO’s Pan American Health Organization, and the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The project contributes to the development of sound obesity prevention approaches through diet and physical activity interventions in Latin America.
