Nanomaterials Under Consideration

The NanoRelease Steering Committee and Advisors have outlined these nanomaterials for consideration for review.

food containers, antimicrobial powders, tableware, blow dryers, hair curlers, plastic storage bags, gloves, textiles, coating materials, disinfecting respirators, wound dressings, textiles covering children's toys, computer mouse/plastics, spray applications, spheres, wires, electrical circuits.

2. MWCNTs

armored vests, tennis racquets, rubber composites, solid polymer master batches, wind blades, airplanes, antibacterial applications, baseball bats, safety equipment (e.g. helmets, knee pads), textiles (yarn & materials), flame retardants, composites, fibers, semiconductor applications, memory storage, energy storage.

3. SWCNTs

food packaging, antibacterial "nano-darts", textiles (yarn & materials), fibers, semi-conductor applications.
