Scientific Advisory Committee
The roles of Scientific Advisory Committee within ILSI SEA Region are to provide framework and general guidance on scientific strategy and programs, bring balanced perspective on the scientific issues, and advise on emerging scientific issues to be addressed by the Branch. Composed of scientific experts representing a variety of disciplines including nutrition, biomedical and clinical research, food safety, and toxicology, the Scientific Advisory Committee is chaired by the President of ILSI SEA Region and assisted by a vice-chair from the public sector together with nominated scientific experts from the Board of Directors and Scientific Advisors, industry members and/ or external experts. The committee members serve for a three-year term and renewable for another three year.
