Event Detail
| Nutritional Genomics Symposium: A Healthy Start To Life |
| Adelaide, Australia 7/30/2010 - 7/30/2010 |
It is increasingly recognized that DNA pathologies in early life, induced by nutritional imbalance, have strong long term effects on health outcomes. Thus, it is necessary to focus our attention on this critical life-stage. Organized by Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) with support from ILSI SEA Region, the 2nd Nutritional Genomics Symposium aims to identify knowledge gaps in this emerging field of research and investigate the key role of nutritional genomics in the prevention and management of early childhood diseases such as autism and cancer.
This symposium is the second in a series of annual national symposia on nutritional genomics, inspired by the great interest generated from the 3rd Asia Pacific Nutrigenomics Conference in 2008 and the 1st Nutritional Genomics Symposium: Nutritional Genomics and the Ageing Brain in 2009.
Date and Time: July 30, 2010, 8:30 - 18:00 hrs Venue: Adelaide Convention Centre, North Terrace, Adelaide, South Australia Organizer: CSIRO Food and Nutritional Sciences / CSIRO Preventative Health Flagship Collaborator: ILSI SEA Region
